Bart Nelson returns again this year as a Houston Raceway Park track champion along with Daryl Patton. Bart made claims to the 1/4 mile position as Daryl took the 1/8 mile spot. This marks the second year in a row Houston Engine and Balancing Customers have claimed both the 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile track championships. In fact, 7 out of the top 10 1/4 mile point’s leaders and 4 out of the top 10 1/8 mile point’s leaders use Houston Engine and Balancing Service power plants. We would like to thank all of you for your support and we look forward to a strong showing at the bracket finals.

Chris Gulitti is having a remarkable start at the 2007 racing season with two Wins in IHRA and three final round appearances in NHRA with the most recent resulting in a Win at the Texas Motorplex. As a result, Chris is currently leading the Top Sportsman IHRA National points and is ranked number two in NHRA Division 4. His Top Sportsman ride is equipped with a Houston Engine and Balancing Service combination that has over 200 passes on it from his dragster and now has an additional 60 to 80 Nitrous passes on it from the Top Sportsman ride. He uses this reliable Houston Engine power in combination with a Rutland Transmission to push his Firebird to 7.28 ¼ mile passes at over 186.00MPH.

Enders Racing Sponsorship
The Costales Family and Houston Engine and Balancing Service have continued their support of Erica Enders and her NHRA Pro Stock Racing Team with a cryogenics sponsorship. Cryotechnical Services will provide Enders Racing with all of their cryogenic needs for engine parts and beyond. Cryogenics is used in many applications to increase a metals resistance to wear and its dimensional stability under stress.
